4. What food must be in your house at all times?
5. Are you a hugger or more of a hands off person?

The answers:
1. Have you set any goals/resolutions for 2013?
I don't really do resolutions. I think, like most people, I have tried and failed enough to know that a New Years resolution is just a lot of pressure...and I'm forgetful and by January 3 I forgot what I was trying to do anyway. I do have a few goals for this year though. My life is obviously VERY different than it was a year ago and I'm trying to lay out things to make sure that 2013 is MY year!
Mah goals:
- Show more gratitude for all of the blessings that I have in my life. I'm incredibly grateful, sometimes I just forget to show that gratitude. I always say "thank you", but sometimes "thank you" isn't enough. I need to give back more...and pay it forward.
- Strengthen my relationship with God. I say this every year but after last year, I'm more aware than ever of the importance of having Him in my life, and the lives of my children. This is my year to find a church and church family that I'm comfortable with and truly introduce my children to the Lord.
- Continue working on my "wellness journey". I need to log more hours at the gym. I need to be more aware of what I'm putting in my pie hole. I need to run a friggin' 5K already! I lost 50 lbs in 2012...that's a downward trend I plan to continue.
Whoohooo, have we! The family is headed to Disney in 2013!! My mom decided many years ago that for my niece's 5th birthday, our whole family should do a trip to Disney. She made this declaration in 2009. That was when there were only two grandchildren. She assumed that if my sister or I were to have any more kids it would be awhile since we'd both popped one out in the last year. She assumed that any additional children would be too small and would be able to stay back this time around. She assumed wrong! 2010 brought two more grandbabies for her and this spring the whole fam-damily is headed to Orlando to celebrate!! So. Friggin'. Excited. And nervous. Traveling with kids = panic attack for Lacey. The anxiety has already kicked in and we don't leave for months!!
I'd like to also get another trip to the lake in this summer. The past two summers I've done long weekends at Table Rock and it is, by far, my favorite thing to do. Give me a boat, some beers, some tunes, some sun and something to float on and you will have one happy girl on your hands! This past trip I may or may not have broken my ankle on our first day on the water (never went and got an xray) but I didn't care! I toughed it out and still had an amazing time.
3. What room is never cleaned in your house?
Mah bedroom! Especially now that it's just me! I have way more clothes than I know what to do with (most of which don't even fit now) and I can't keep them under control! Maybe maintaining that mess should be another goal for 2013.
4. What food must be in your house at all times?
Hmmm...food? Right now it's Cuties, or Clementines. I mean, how can you go wrong with tiny little oranges that peel so easily? They are hands down the best snack in the world. It's on the short list of things H will actually eat so that's a total win! I probably put back 3 or 4 a day. H easily does the same! Strangely, B, who will eat anything, is not a fan. Go figure!
5. Are you a hugger or more of a hands off person?
It depends. I work with some huggers and I'm anti work hugs. It just seems really weird to me. Awkward. I'll never get used to it. Outside of work - come and get it! I love hugs! I am a hugger. I also like a good high five! :)
There ya have it y'all.
